PICNIC IN THE PARK
Join us next door on Friday, May 21st, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Bring your blankets and dine at the park. Preorder dinners, and tickets ahead of time at school. Events include bounce house, slide, face-painting, rock climbing and other surprises. Mingle with other parents while your children have fun with their friends.
Come prepared to spend some significant money on the unusually nice items available in the silent auction including a trip to Mexico, and a ski trip to Grand Targhee National Park.
After expenses for the picnic are paid for, all proceeds go directly to the school to update educational furniture and increase our selection of teaching tools for the classrooms. Once the classroom needs are met we hope to also raise money for a new oven in the teachers workroom to use for cooking projects with the students.
LUNCH BUNCH” AND “EARLY MORNING CARE” ENDING
The last day for “Lunch Bunch” and “Early Morning Care” this year is Friday May 14th, 2010. Please take note and plan ahead if you need to make other arrangements for taking care of your children. We spend the last two weeks collecting any outstanding money that you owe.
REGISTRATION
Registration for next year is complete. We started “Waiting Lists” for all ages. Attend tours of the school weekly on Tuesday mornings at 10:00 a.m. until school dismisses for the summer.
END OF YEAR PROGRAM
The children perform an end of the year program upstairs in the Sanctuary on Thursday and Friday, May, 27-28th. Morning programs begin at 9:15 a.m. and afternoon classes begin at 12:30 p.m.All parents, grandparents etc. are invited to attend. Plan to drop your children off in class at the regular time and then go upstairs to wait for the program to begin. The children typically get upstairs about 1/2 hour after drop-off time. After the program we dismiss school by going outside for light refreshments and “ringing the church bell.” This tradition symbolizes the end of another school year. Your children are then free to go home with you for the summer.

A Note From the Director
Thanks to parents and teachers for your wonderful support this year. We love your children and love what we do here at Wasatch Preschool. For those of you who leave for Kindergarten, we will miss you and wish you the best. For the rest of you, we hope you enjoy the summer break and we will see you soon!
“Hope is a state of mind, not of the world. Hope, in this deep and powerful sense,
is not the same as joy that things are going well, or willingness to invest in enterprises
that are obviously heading for success, but rather an ability to work for something
because it is good.”
Vaclav Havel
