Wasatch Preschool

Wasatch Presbyterian Preschool – Director, Julie Johnson

Recognizing that we minister to children of families of diverse backgrounds, we offer a safe, nurturing environment that promotes intellectual, emotional and social growth, allowing children to build a strong foundation of confidence and enthusiasm appropriate for lifelong learning. Wasatch Presbyterian Preschool has been a Wasatch Presbyterian Church outreach to the community for over 40 years. Our two-to-five-day per week program offers a quality setting and instruction for over 170 preschoolers ages 2–5 during the school year.

Our educational philosophy is based on research that shows children learn best by doing. Consequently, play is a very integral and important part of our program at Wasatch. Teachers use play as a learning tool to help children discover language, mathematics, science, music and art.

  • Toddler classes are offered Monday-Wednesday-Thursday from 9-11am and 12-2 pm.
  • Toddler classes are also offered Tuesday and Friday from 9-11 am.
  • Preschool classes are offered Monday-Wednesday-Thursday from 8:45-11:30 am and 12:15-3 pm.
  • Preschool classes are also offered Tuesday and Friday from from 8:45-11:30 am.
  • Extended care is offered from 8-8:45am and from 11:30 am-12:30 pm.

Tours:

Come for a visit to experience Wasatch Presbyterian Preschool for yourself. We offer tours of the preschool on Tuesdays at 10:00 a.m., September through May. Wasatch Preschool is closed during the summer.  Tours during the summer can be made by calling for an appointment. We look forward to seeing you.

Registration forms for the 2012-13 school year became available online January 3, 2012.

  • Returning student deadline for turning in registration forms: February 1, 2012.
